Lot 309 Giuseppe Mazzini
Italian patriot (1805–1872) who dedicated his life, much of which was spent in exile, to uniting his country under a republic. Scarce fountain pen signature, “Joseph Mazzini,” on an off-white 2 x .5 slip clipped from a document and affixed to a 6.25 x 6.75 album page along with four other clipped signatures, including Jerome Bonaparte. Mild toning and soiling, otherwise fine condition.
